Cemetery Expansion

At this time, our parish is taking names and contact information from parishioners who are interested in interment space in the Columbaria which have been erected next to the church.  We are waiting for confirmation of registration from the Government and information from the Diocese on costs and details.  Many have asked to be put on a waiting list.

Mass Intentions

Mass Intentions

To have a Mass celebrated for a living or deceased loved one, and especially if you require a Mass card, we ask that you make your request in person during regular parish office hours. The offering for a Mass intention is  $10 per Mass. Consider your preferred way of setting the date for the Mass left open or for a specific date.

NOTE: Requests for specific dates, birthday, anniversary, should be submitted several months in advance to avoid disappointment and are subject to the availability of a priest.

Parish 200th Anniversary

Planning has begun in earnest as the Heritage Council looks ahead to 2026 (specifically, September 27 of that year and the lead-up to the day). The six subcommittees - all of which will require more volunteer help - have been formed to make the preparations. In April, we will be asking parishioners directly to assist in the work of these subcommittees:

  • anniversary liturgies (Mass, other prayers)

  • anniversary festivity (celebratory events)

  • publicity (invites, corporate sponsors, banners, media)

  • parish history booklet & commemorative memorabilia

  • church statuary & stations refurbishing or restoration

  • photo directory of parishioners & church photo display

We will be creating a prayer card for the occasion - with any helpful input to be considered. As the parish history has not been updated in forty years, any photos / "souvenirs" of people and events of "recent vintage" will be welcomed.
